TeamAROS is proud to announce a brave soul has been found for Bounty #3. Big thank you goes to Wez and of course, all the donors. =)

Sigh... why didn't the poster spare ten extra seconds of time to actually describe what "Bounty #3" is? The quality of posts and the discpline of the posters are diminishing by the minute.

Bounty #3 is a TCP stack of the sort you'd expect on an Amiga, ie somewhat out of date but serviceable.

One thing interesting on Donors are these mysterious Black Troll Tech... and it's also interesting to know that are companies who have interests in Amiga related activities...

Keep in mind that just because a bounty has a taker, it doesn't mean the bounty is closed to donations.

This is a worthwhile bounty for everyone.

Black Troll Tech is a company dedicated to supporting AROS developemnt. If I remember this right its focus current is drivers.

It shouldn't be of a supprise to anyone who knows who is behind it. Its the same person heading up the AROS Bounty program.

Just as a matter of clairity, the AROS bounty program is only one direction to supporting the development of AROS.

At this point in time I believe Randy is the leading financial contributor to AROS. And he is being somewhat modest about it by spreading his contributons across several different routes. From as an Individual, to in the name of Team AROS to now Black Troll Tech.

That is if you are keeping track. And if you are then you probably know who the other leading contributors are and might note that they are not always listed on the TeamAROS bounty program, cause they haven't contributed that way YET.

I do believe AROS itself has credit to all who have contributed in one way or another.

I suspect Black Troll Tech will be marketing AROS, like companies market Linux. Even I think I'll end up putting together a distribution of AROS.

That'd be nice, pouring a couple of thousands of dollars into the
project :) should make it move along at a faster pace, than before. :)
