Wow! I was very lucky tonight... I could pinch CISC long enough to get a few new MLnet binaries from him. Normaly he keeps the good stuff for himself. :-) I quickly made an release archive out of the latest version and here it is:

MLdonkey 2.5-16 for MorphOS/ PowerPC

MLdonkey is a multi-platform multi-networks peer-to-peer client which runs as a daemon. It supports several large networks, such as eDonkey, Overnet, Bittorrent, Gnutella, Gnutella2, Fasttrack, Soulseek, Direct-Connect and Opennap. It can be controlled locally or remotely using several interfaces like telnet or http.

This release is mostly a bugfix update, but also contains new features. Please read the ChangeLog inside the archive for a full list of all changes.

Bittorrent is a good idea, imnsho.

If you want to serve a large file, bittorrent is THE way to distribute.

nah, that would be too sensible! all platforms need a decent P2P application, and this works with all core networks...so is the best solution

The life of a torrent is very short. It's not the same at all on the edonkey network, my old releases are always here. I'm use the two networks, it's not the same thing. By the way, the two are good for the large files.
And Mldonkey is a very interesting program, and the community is great.

MLNet *is* MLDonkey .. MLDonkey works as a background service, you run mlnet, then you can chose between using telnet, http or GUI (if you have one) interface to control it...
