Info on KMOS, INC. The company KMOS was incorporated on 10/7/2003.

It is a general domestic corporation formed in the State of Delaware.

The registered agent is:

XL CORPORATE SERVICES, INC.

15 EAST NORTH STREET

Dover (County Kent), Delaware. 19901

(302)678-0855

The State of Delaware can provide more info for either $10 or even some more info for $20.

Pretty expensive to get public information (free if you go to the State of Delaware offices.)

It would cost $20 to get the information - anybody willing to donate - I'll get the info.

Just looking to see if ANYONE will kick in the money - I've spent a lot on my court documents.

And let's face it - Fleecy and billyboy most likely would have "proxies" holding their shares.

Wait until the contract of the "acquired" Amiga is sub-poened for court.

That should be interesting.

I find a bit odd that a company which is in IT business doesn't have a website.

btw, latest tells that the consumption of popcorn has rised 75% since last week. Marketpeople are amazed for this sudden change of interest in corn!

Do some research on the corporation that was touted last year as one of Garry's "accomplishments" etc - his SF number wasnot operational.

Do a D&B on the corporations her "owned". Nothing spectucular indeed.

Maybe AmigaOS can finally get the capital + marketing it needs, if it is related to the last news items, I think we are I better position then whit ESCOM, Viscorp or any other previous company, maybe whit the exception of Commodore and Amiga Inc,

Delaware is a state on the East coast of the U.S. of A. (use Google for more info.) that is often used as a "state of convenience" for companies to register in, due to particular regulations and laws that are less stringent than other states (as received wisdom has it, at least).

Compare Switzerland for anonymous bank accounts, or Liberia for ship registration.

As has been said, being registered in Delaware does not automatically imply nefarious intent, of course.

KMOS is so big there is fvck all info about them on the net, looks more like a two bit conman "Hare" is involved in the AOS scam.

People you worshipped the crooks at Amiga inc for far too long and now continuing the trend with a dodgy outfit.

In reply to Comment 24 (John):
Hare has a well known past running companies and doing stuff. Seems to be a good track record. He appears to be involved with the investors in Amiga Inc, and getting Amiga Inc's DE stuff to work, hence dragging Amiga OS (a distraction) away from them into a new company / IP holding and management company.

Hardly a "two bit conman".

I wonder if kmos.com has anything to do with this KMOS. For a start, it was registered in 2000, which isn't exactly yesterday. However it was last updated on the 17th March 2004, which is a strange coincidence.

I wonder who John Grzymala is, and if he has anything to do with the KMOS we are talking about, or if it is some poor sod that is going to get pwned soon by e-mail and phone calls.

Delaware bring a "state of convenience" is not because they are a shady state. It is because Delaware is a tax free state. It has something to do with them being the first state to sign the U.S. constitution. Comparisons to Liberia et. al should never be made.

Escom would have been really good if they had not gone broke. That's only because they made poor decisions with their PC business, but they were doing as much with the Amiga as we could have hoped for - setting up a company dedicated to the Amiga business, restarting sales of A1200s, opening up new markets for classic Amigas, designing a next generation Amiga (the Walker) and beginning the migration of AmigaOS to PPC. Had they stayed in business, we would have had PPC Amigas years ago...

-------------------------

Apparently you can't discern the info that is important. Authorized shares is 25,000,000 - were the names of the shareholders listed? Or were NO shares outstanding.

Not important to you since you cannot see the significance of such and know what is supposed to be done with listed shares.

I posted the info on the registered agent XL - aim is to find out the corporate officers, addresses and stock disbursement of each.

And... that's all. And don't tell me that it was worth it.

I agree the $20 is high - but that's the way you do research - and the cost you have to pay. But at least you got SOMETHING for your $20 - better than NO T SHIRT for $50!

So who was worse, Irving Gould, Petro, or Bill McEwen?
Petro may have been a fool. He certainly treated some people badly. But Escom was moving in the right direction, taking concrete action like restarting production, while planning for the future. Yes, they sold the A1200 while it was outdated, but there was still some demand for them at the time and the their strategy was to sell them into places like India. But they knew there was no future in that, so they designed the Walker (and built real prototypes) and started porting AmigaOS to PPC. Seems like a sensible approach.

From Amiga.com
"Amiga, Inc. established itself in 1985 as the premier provider of multimedia technologies to the world. Its award-winning software has been a mainstay for motion picture studios, government agencies, and entertainment enthusiasts from around the world. Today Amiga continues to lead the way in multimedia development by providing developers with hardware-independent technologies for writing and porting applications to a new hardware-agnostic, multimedia platform."

Sounds familiar?
In 1987, a crack commando unit were sent to prison for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade in the Los Angeles underground. Today they exist as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, and if noone else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire "the 'A' (Amiga) team"

It's largely unknown software has been a cause of bemusement to companies that would rather just go to the source, Tao, themselves instead of paying a middleman like Amiga, Inc. for a useless trademark. Today Amiga continues to lead the way in confidence scam development by providing developers with the opportunity to pay and get nothing in return."
