You don't know what gcc is? Or you're too lazy to start it? Or you simply don't want to be bothered with such nonsense?

...but you still need a new wget?

No Problem! Grab the build which I've done while eating a donut from here. You already downloaded it?

Really?

Wow.... You're a lamer! :-P

does the -b switch work? I didn't bother to fix that in my own aos4 "port".

You built wget while eating a donut?

That must've been some donut... got any leftovers?

I think I'll stick to my trustworthy current MOS-native version for now. Doughnut eaters are inherently trustworthy. As are people who spell it "donut". Savages.

That should be "untrustworthy". See, the doughnut effect is starting to melt my mind already.

In reply to Comment 1 (Nicolas Mendoza):
hmm.. obviously not. :-)

morphos:> wget -b http://www.foobar.com/index.html
fork: Function not implemented

But since old wget versions for morphos have same behavior I don't think this is a big loss actually. IMHO. But I wasn't beware of this option to be honest.

pfff... try to pronounce "Doughnut" while you have a Doughnut in the mouth. Impossible! :-)

And anyway it's a Krapfen! ;-)

In reply to Comment 7 (tokai):
You could try building with -Dfork=vfork, but it will only work in certain situations, dunno if wget applies...

data:wget-1.9.1/> wget -b http://www.christianrosentreter.com/
Continuing in background, pid 626636024.

In reply to Comment 15 (Nicolas Mendoza):
What's so hairy about ixemul?

It serves a purpose, and it serves it well .. so well infact that most ports don't require any changes at all, which is a good thing when you just want to keep all your GG tools up-to-date...
