Where's KMOS? How come they arn't coming forward and speaking to us? It's been a year and they've said nothing. Why is Amiga Inc doing all the talking like "KMOS will honor all contracts" for them, why doesn't KMOS say this themselves? it doesn't matter what Amiga Inc say, as they don't own the OS anymore, I want to hear from the horses mouth!

In reply to Comment 96 (Johan Rönnblom):
"Well, this is where it does get complex, but as far as I know:

a) The contract was not with the closed Thendic-France, but with a
German Thendic company (which has not closed). Not sure if this
company actually did/does anything.

b) Genesi was added as plaintiff in this case. So it doesn't really
matter as long as Pegasos is a Genesi product. So it is also a
'Thendic' product, in the sense that everywhere where the contract
reads 'Thendic' you can read it as 'Genesi'."

Sorry this doesn't wash!

Thendic France is the "Exclusive Master Distributor" of the Mos/Peg pkg.

Look up the word exclusive because it means a great deal in this case.

My guess would be that the money for the sale didn't go to Amiga Inc, but to two private persons behind Amiga Inc. There have been such tries before according to "rumors".

But now when Amiga Inc is out of the picture and both PPC Amiga operating systemes aren't anylonger real Amiga, so why not make one more atempt to cooperate, have joined projects, the first one could be a public execution of both Blue and Red trolls...

Interesting: What makes you think there exists a contract making
Thendic-France the "exclusive master distributor"?

To spell it out: A press release is NOT a contract!

bPlan might have changed their mind the following day, really.

>Another crime. Corporations are required to have a physical address and a >phone number, neither of which can be an individuals home. Amiga Inc has neither.

Sorry, that's incorrect in the State of Washington. The only requirement is an Agent for the Corporation and his address were he can be reached. It can be an individuals home.

Excuse the late post.

I trust Hyperion and Eyetech as I have no reason not to. I believe that both companies have done the best they can in these difficult circumstances. I am heavily disappointed in Amiga inc. Like another Commodore - but with no money.

We're not exactly starting off on the right foot with this shady KMOS thing either. Why was this deal done a year ago? Who are you? Where is your website? What are your plans?

Why release the information if no one was ready? A basic press release direct to the users from KMOS would be enough - it only takes a half hour to formulate something. Nothing at all is really not a great idea.

I would guess that the reason why Mr. Hare had the Amiga business cards and not any Ltec or KMOS ones was that at the time they probably thought they were going to buy the whole Amiga thing - name included. This is a year ago now and we strongly suspect that there has been a lot of unexplainable going on.

As i explained in another post to AdmV, i was judging my trust in the people behind the companies, not the corporate entity.

I trust no company, but i do trust the people behind the companies, hope you understand what i mean.
