Karate0.99 is a Amiga Demo Scripter working from AGA 68030 to 060 CGX,uae,mos,etc... It now supports a full 3D software engine and can read .lwo 3D objects from lightwave, and do many other things. Lots of exemples are included that you can run by one click.

Posted by StAn on 26-Mar-2004 11:10 GMT | This is a tool to easily create demos without any programming. Or almost : you have to create xml-like scripts to describe the demo (when which effects will show up, transitions, music, dunnowhatmore since I've never used it).
There is no GUI. There is only software rendering (which makes sense for 2D effects, but it's unfortunately very slow here on my BlizzardPPC 040/25 + BVision). A PPC version would be nice, but I think most of it is written in 68k asm so it's not easily portable. |
