Amiga Forever 6.0 will premiere at AmiGBG in Gothenburg on April 3rd, 2004. This new version is the result of more than two years of work, and constitutes the most significant update ever. A launch seminar is scheduled to take place at 12:45. Amiga Forever 6.0 will be shown running on a notebook and on a MicroA1. This will be an exclusive presentation, with the final shipping product being shown a few days ahead of the planned Amiga Forever 6.0 web site update and launch.

What's new in version 6.0?

Is there a native OS4 version this time around?

Sounds good. :)

Is the fussiness over the serial lead pin arrangement still there?

Excellent news! It's good to see that the odd Amiga-related company still can perform without screwing employees, partners, and customers alike.

At least EVERYONE loves Cloanto... we couldn't possible start a flame fest on this thread... or could we?

I think it's time I upgraded my Amiga Forever CD...

Great news! I've bought several versions of Amiga Forever but nothing can replace the real thing :) I really hope the MicroA1 version is running on top of Amiga OS4 and not in Linux or something like it.

If Ao4 is backwards compatable why would amigaforever be run on it?

Because you cannot run classic games like Turrican, Apidya, Shadow of the Beast s.o. on the A1. BTW, I don't think the A1 version runs on OS 4, although there does a version of UAE exist on the A1 it's not yet finished. But it's already running nicely, so you may hold your breath and I may also be wrong, of course :-)
