If you think the ANN threads are long check out this one where a Microsoft employee is asking why people hate Microsoft on his blog. He asked for feedback and got it, almost 700 messages and counting. Makes ANN look like a rated G movie.

Maybe we should ask an other question then, why are you using MicrosoftOS when you hate it, should point them as the direction of osnews.com or some thing objective, it be wrong to market the AmigaOS or MorphOS, when we are talking about a diversity of folks. Any way it becomes to transparent what we really think.

Make the folks browsing this web pages on other OS is the first step, away from Microsoft, and maybe inn the direction of AmigaOS, they need to know some thing to be able to compare the OS objectively, or else AmigaOS continue to be the Game Console OS they think it’s.

I just saw this on the same site. He is asking for paypal donations too. For what? Donations because he has a site begging people to give feedback on how to make Windows Longhorn better? Give me a break!

There are MOS advocates, there are OS4 advocates, there are Windows advocates...

I can understand the first two but, after all these years, I find that the third type still sounds silly ...

Anyway, I do not expect to read a 460+ thread, even if it was important for the future of the Amiga platform. Somebody makes a resume when people get bored trolling ... erm, I meant posting. But I somehow doubt this will be over half a page long.

Ehm, ANN.lu DID have a 700 comment thread... :-)
It was an arguement between me and Samface mostly!
Ah, the good old days, I've got better things to do now
that spend 99% of my online time here.

It's very rare that I post here, but I just had to say something. This is too good to pass up.
I see 2 possibilities with what we can do with this opportunity:
1. Suggest some features to make Windows actually stop being awful
2. Suggest some features to make Windows even worse =)

"I really like all the security holes in Windows. It's like an adventure game every time I come back to my computer - Gotta find those missing files or destroy the evil alien host taking over the mothership!"
"The Office Assistant is one of my most favorite features. I'd like to see it inextricably integrated with the rest of the system."
"I really like the way I need to wait 5 minutes for the machine to boot and login. I wouldn't want to miss a thing if I'm away from my desk getting coffee!"
"I really like all the flashy graphics that suck up CPU cycles and force me to upgrade my machine every other month. Could we see more of this?"
"I don't like the way you've removed the feature that implicitly suggests a reinstall several times per month. I like to have a fresh start to my fortnight, computer included."
"Popups and spyware are some of my favorite elements of Internet Explorer. I also really hate tabbed browsing, so please keep IE just as it is."

There's much fun to be had here!

How about "Files that haven't been used for a while should be automatically moved to the Trash Can."
