If this is it, its pathetic. With OS4 so close to release these guys should be making more noise. Maybe they are leaving it up to the BAFs to make all the noise?

KMOS buyout news finally makes it into the public domain : Comment 1 of 9 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Joe "Floid" Kanowitz on 08-Apr-2004 22:20 GMT | This is Amiga Inc.'s press release, as released the day we all found out, and it was already syndicated to TomsHardware and the like, possibly before it even hit ANN. Hare's already suggested that whatever his master plan is doesn't demand or involve a public spin-up just yet, indeed unfortunate for us backseat CEOs, info-junkies, and wannabe-customers, but then, promises didn't exactly work, either.
BTW, what's up with:
The Amiga hit home with users. "The phrase that best describes it is 'elegance through simplicity,' " says Wayne Dresing, a legendary "Amigan" known throughout the Amiga universe as Fleecy Moss."
...from this article from 1999? |

Posted by Darth_X on 08-Apr-2004 23:22 GMT | Looks like someone cut n'pasted from the amiga.com site, no big deal.
Anyways, you probably won't hear much of OS4 in the mainstream news because it's not ready. Or is it? ;) |
