In reply to Comment 247 (Don Cox):
Ben does tell the truth when it suits him, and he has no qualms about lying when that serves his purpose better. At other times he tells part of the truth, presented in such a way as to deflect attention from the part he wants to hide.

I class him in the same category as Hare, McEwen, Buck, Haage etc., but he's not someone whose opinion I would ask when searching for the truth.

As for who is classed as a "liar" or not, surely anyone who tells a lie and then sticks by it is a liar. If you deliberately say something which you know to be untrue you are by definition a liar, no matter how often you are prone to doing it.

But in that case everyone is a liar, or at least 99% of people, so the word becomes useless. I would take it to mean "Somebody you would expect to tell a lie" as opposed to "Somebody you would expect to tell the truth".

Of course nobody ever agrees about words.

Berie is a man, not a sacred cow. If he couldn't stand the heat, he
wouldn't keep coming back to the kitchen. By the way, Bernie, go ahead
and sell Umilator, and let Intel/AMD provide the speed increases, and
kernel-hackers deal with 2.6. and beyond. I assume it would be speedy
on 3 and 4 gigithurts mobos?

Hi all.

Good news for the A1 users out there! :)

One thing I would say to Amiga/Hyperion though - check those disks thoroughly before you send them out to users!

I still remember the Nightlong/Clickboom fiasco where the CD printers faffed things up and most people got non working (or hard to make work and had to use a 4x cdrom to get it to work) cds sent out.

So it might add time but I would go through and check every 20th or so CD! (depending on amount made).

Anyway. I look forward to the next SEAL meeting where Mick Sutton will have this installed :) Might have to take my Peg along so we can play Quake2 across a network! ;-)))

Taking this to the next step if I were Gary Hare, I would fully defend my investmet in Amiga IP. That being said issues, of H&P, Aros, Mos etc. would all be on my legal map.
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

And what AmigaIP does AROS use then? which IP used by AROS would allow it to appear on "your" clearly well informed Legal Map?

If your head wasn't buried deep inside where you know you would know that "gone gold" doesn't mean having sold # of copies. Wrong CD buddy, this is not Ricky Martin.

Why do you worry so much? Alemagna's intent is to scare people and throw mud while showing his know-it-all attitude, he likes to think he's important. Hyperion has worked before with these type of licenses and they know what to do.

Because he's Bolton Peck, an ex-Amiga employee that is owned more than 50000$...
He won a court case about that, yet the money are nowhere to be seen.
Amiga now has money to continue the case with Genesi and yet they haven't paid
people they owe money to.
