Is the Prometheus still being manufactured or is this a sell-off of remaining inventory? |

Only if you are extremly enthusiastic about classic hardware. To put the price into perspective, two of these (not very complex) bus boards nearly equal the price of a complete Pegasos with G3 CPU, USB controller, IDE controllers, firewire controller, ethernet controller and AGP slot. And let's throw in a PPC OS, too. |

Posted by Georg Steger on 05-May-2004 19:21 GMT | source code: since it seems to access hw from several different
contexts (interrupt, unit task, iorequest sender task) it looks
like there might be missing some Disable()/Enable() protection
every once and there. |

knows what a peg and a prom are doesn't know the cost to fun ratio of
each...so the peg isn't as obsolete as the prom...who cares...Amiga stuff
is cool and fun...so let some creaky old A3000 enjoy a voodoo card before
going to the cybergrave, without having to bore us with the obvious...
see ya under the bridge, ya all.. |

Another starving Amiga Classic salesman hawking his wares ;) Admittedly, I wasn't aware that busboards are cool and fun. I always though those are ugly overpriced adapters while Zorro 3 was cool (in its time). |
