Finally, after more than a month, the video from the AROS presentation at the AmiGBG 2004 fair is available for download! For those that don't understand Swedish (or who can't hear what's said), subtitles are provided (which is one reason why it took so long to produce the video). Lot's of thanks to Älgtjur Filmproduktion for filming the presentation, Carl Drougge for the editing, and myself for doing the subtitles. ;-) Oh, and ofcourse to the AmiGBG guys for arranging the fair!

Is there a place where we can just download the video clip without going thru screens and screens of whatever?

Thanks. I just don't feel downloading a program and configs and setting it up and all the rest is worth it for a small video clip.

It's two clicks away from ann.lu. I can't see how it could be easier to download (except for posting a direct link here of course).

Oh, you mean you don't have BitTorrent installed on your computer? Shame on you. :-)

Is there a link with instructions on how to set up BitTorrent on an Amiga?

W00, finally someone who understood there is no use for those 160x120 no sound 10fps 24kbps bitrate video flicks.

Looks good, credits to anyone who decided to use bittorrent aswell, downloaded with 600kbps+, althought i'm in sweden and on b2.

It probably possibly is, but somebody will have to actually get it working before it makes sense to post a link on an Amiga forum that requires BitTorrent.

BitTorrent seems like a good idea, so it would be nice to have it working on Amiga.

Stats show that the majority of people who are interested in AROS use either Windows or linux, only a minority uses Amiga's...

Since we're talking about AROS, there is something I'm wondering about... with all the freeware/shareware there is on AmiNET, why has so little been open-sourced and ported to AROS (or at least just open-sourced)?
Are all the authors of software often written many years ago still so sensitive abou their source code, or simply nobody asked them, or can't they be contacted anymoe, or what?
After all, AmigaOS has an impressing software base (although modern applications are somewhat missing), and one would expect more people donating their share/free/whateverware to AROS.

I'm not so sure... both AmigaOS 4 and MorphOS have m68k emulation, right? Ok, that allows running programs written in assembly, but doesn't help with programs using custom chips - yet people regard it as important, which to me means that the 'outdated' programs are not so outdated as to be unusable...
