This is a news item? A link to a random thread on some other site? At least you could post information here or start thread here about it.

How can this be news? Can we just post any news item about any thread on any site? What qualifies this and not any other million forum posts on any other web site?

If it's news then post the news dip rod. This is just a ploy to get you to go to some other site.

I agree. I can't see it does any harm.. now there most probably be a port for OS4 aswell. Everybody wins.

The game seems nice.. maybe works a bit too fast on peg2/g4 though. Also, screengrabbing hangs.

Umm... The news item isn't about the thread. It's about a new port.

The only place that has this information is that thread. It might have been better to link directly to the post in the thread, or post the download link and screen shot links that were available.

I think what he meant was that it's sort of like the New York times having a headline reading:

"New Medical Cure For Aging"

and instead of any information it just says, "Please read the Washing Post for information." I think this item would be better categorized as 'Informational Link' than 'News'. There's no news here just a link to news. Doesn't havve to be a lot of news, maybe just a little bit of 'news' with a link would be nice though.

Anyway, the screen shots look schweet!

OMG! This was my 2nd favourite game _EVER_ (after Civilization:) on peecee, before i got me my Amiga. Now i can play it again on my Pegasos!!! This is simply KICK ASS!

Heh.. I didn't follow that link, I read only the info here in this
article and checked out the screenshot (linked in this article). That
was enough for me and I found it interesting. So while more info would
have been better I think it definitely qualifies as news.. it says the
game in question is available and from the screenshot you can get some
idea of what it's like.

It's a good title. I never played it much past 2000 and would like to. Plus seeing those little buses and trucks climbing mountains etc. is quite a thrill.
