Not sure what you mean.

Do you mean you are not bringing the site back online fully before OS4 is released?

Cheers,

Steve

Exactly. There are not enough REALLY interesting news nor the chance get'em before amigawrold.net (no offence or flames, please)

I loved about Czech Amiga News that they only published the most important news.

Hmm.. although I'd like to see classic and MOS news there too. I like to follow all news in "Amiga world", not just one "camp".

Amigaworld.net named as the fastest and primary news source? Sure, it's a great community site for a special slice of the community, but...

Well, ANN seems to be mostly "woooo, a new incremental revision of gvim compiled for MOS" these days, so for the non-Peggies AmigaWorld.net is actually kinda growing on us ;-)

Checked the current titles:

LGeneral for MorphOS
CAN online again
English report from Amiga Meeting 2004
ptplay "ported" to AmigaOS4
68k hosted gcc for x86-AROS ported
SView5 GIF plugin
Transport Tycoon Deluxe for MorphOS
German Interview with Elena
Essen Event

Which one of these classifies as mostly "woooo, a new incremental revision of gvim compiled for MOS"? L(Panzer) General or Transport Tycoon Deluxe for MorphOS? These two are the only titles closely MorphOS related, and neither seems to be something unimportant. Even screenshots of Wolfenstein for OS4 can make it to the news these days.

THIS IS JUST MY POINT OF VIEW:
amigaworld.net got "exclusivity" from eyetech, hyperion, Frieden-bros...
So you nearly can't beat'em. MorphOS stuff is the first on the morphos oriented forums...

Czech Amiga News was never AmigaOS anly and probably never will...

Whatever the current and future status of CAN, it was an important online Amiga resource for many of us. It's good to see you again, ExiE  :  }

But as a site providing information about both, and maybe even more, being fresh and regularly updated CAN could make it to the top again. Ann is fast, but there are many news which doesn't make it here, and add to that the flames and all :) Amiga-news.de is nice, but not everything makes it to become an english news item. So I definitely think there is a place for CAN even these days.
