Is it just me or can anyone view the video. I keep getting errors like "Bad Codec" and stuff.

The movie is encoded in Motion JPEG (for some reason).. Just google for "motion jpeg codec" and download it.

Perhaps it was saved in the same format it was recorded in (DV) but
resized etc. Works fine in frogger and mplayer. :P

There is also a clip with probably the coolest matrix screen saver
around for ANY platforms.

Looks like it will be even bigger quantum leap than 1.3 -> 1.4 was. Will be hard to catch up to other party :-)

Not much to see in that video.. guess it's a bit hard to catch some new features into a video anyway. As some of the changes are minor (but being spoken to people, important ones :) or just bugfixes, rather than visually pleasing eyecandy.

Quantum leaps generally tend to be quite small. Quite small.

But you knew that, right? ;-)

(A quantum leap means going from A to B without passing through any of the space/time in between. In real life this so far only happens on the sub-atomic level. Which tends to be tiny ;-) )

Evidently physics is not taught in schools.

Depends on the school... :-)
I'm giving exams on advanced physics next week... That's what we're taught in the last school year in Greece.
Yes, that's the same physics that are taught in most universities in the first
year of the engineering courses.

I know several people complain about the usage of "quantum leap", specially in media. BUT I think it's actually quite correct to say that something is a wauntum leap if it's something completely new. From being at point A as you say you suddenly are at point B since you have a totally new feature.

On the other hand I don't know if quantum leap is applicable here as it seems the new features are but small improvements, nevertheless progress is always good ;)

Ah, now a wauntum leap _is_ different. They really are big.

...and none commenting on relevant improvements such ALTIVEC implementation into MorphOS...

Or maybe regarding the now functioning Optical audio out...
