As someone remembers, now it's time to start to cross our fingers to have Pixel32 ported to MorphOS.

FYI: http://pixel32.box.sk/

>eLiquid GUI subsystem has been ported to Mac OS X and Linux/PPC.

Question would be wether it is possible to port that to use MUI.

I thought it was the job of the opposing side to turn any newsitem about the other system into a flamefest (mos users making noise in os4 threads etc). Here you are doing that yourselves...

Very cool! :-)

Can it be downloaded from somewhere? I only found a Amiga 68k version at the site.

BTW, there are much too few ridiculous smileys in this thread:

Christophe Decanini: Why don't you remove this whole thread, because this thread is nothing but trolling. I'm really getting sick of this community, or atleast it's blue side

I think that the thread is pretty clean now.
As always I can be reached by email if I missed something (And that may happen as I don't have the time anymore to read all comments from all the threads).

hehe. I remember the Pascal lessons at EDB lessons in "ungdomskolen" :) We had courses on IBM PC's. Now with this comming to Pegasos. I would gain what I learned at school onto MorphOS. Creating apps in Pascal. Hehe :) I designed my first ever text adventure game and a drawing program with Pascal.

MorphOS is just so sweet OS. Now as AmigaOS v4.0 is out, that might get it to someday I hope.

I would not if people would just ignore misplaced personal opinions, trolling etc. Too much importance is accorded to these things when there is so much positive stuff to do for this "community"

Ignore those which trolls .. they are like Amiga Forever people, but no clues about what they are doing. Be nice to each other people :) This is Amiga and if this platform is going to go somewhere. We need to stand a bit up, and get the SCENE feeling back. The kick, that Amiga is cool. Both MorphOS and AmigaOS users offcourse!

Currently no binary distribution is available. The source of the MorphOS port is available from the FPC CVS, and it can be cross-compiled from Linux, to have a working MorphOS compiler. I'm currently working to have the first binary development snapshot released (an "earlybird developer-pre-release" as some people say :). So, the above 'compiled itself' news is just important for the ones curious about the compiler's development. It's still a long road to go until the compiler can be used to do any kind of development on MorphOS. But the first steps are already behind us. :) Expect the first 'official' FPC for MorphOS beta to be available with the 1.9.6 beta release of FPC, within a few weeks.

And FYI, Genesi donated a free Pegasos II/G4 machine to have Free Pascal ported to MorphOS.

I learned Comal in "ungdomskolen" (in Denmark, know you are from Norway) ... also on an IA16 ... At home I had AmigaComal, so I could play with it in colors (remember it to be expensive)

Noone use Pascal these days. FreePascal is a good try to wake that language from the dead, but it's impossible. Even Delphi is quite dead now. Why use pascal when you have C and C++ ?
