Possible further ports: We could port Barkanoid 2 also to MorphOS and/or AmigaOS (PPC only). But since we do not have any idea of how large the market still is and if there is request for this type of casual game on the Amiga market(s), we would be happy to receive feedback regarding ports of Barkanoid 2 to the above systems.

And now: Pick up your racket and get the ball rolling!
Features:
- 300 levels
- over 50 extras to collect
- 9 different bats and balls
- Weather effects like snow, rain or fog
- Different backgrounds
- Editable bat behaviour
- Different stages of difficulty
- Many new animations and effects
- Saveable passwordsystem for each level
- Saveable highscores
The game is available now and can be ordered from our webshop for EUR 14,99.

Posted by Kronos on 09-Jun-2004 11:47 GMT | At that price I'll buy one.
But more important would be to hold the 7/2004 release-date for "Northland" stated on your website ;-) |

Regardless, I'd probably purchase a MOS compatible version. |

Posted by Man on the moon on 09-Jun-2004 13:22 GMT | Heh... as this seems the first port you do on Linux, I'm just wondering how many copies you expect to sell in the "release-that-source-code-for-free-or-f*ck-off-and-die-now!" community... good luck, man! |

Posted by Jupp3 on 09-Jun-2004 14:14 GMT | It sure sounds nice, but does it LOOK nice?
In other words, are there any screenshots available?
Untill now Babeanoid has been (imho) the best "Breakout game" for Amiga but sadly it's very dependant on the classic hardware...
Personally I prefer good 2D games (such as Knights & Merchants, classic arcade games etc.) to most 3D shooters.
Anyway, I'd likely buy MOS version... |

Posted by Thomas Würgler/Pagan on 09-Jun-2004 14:40 GMT | To be honest I doubt I'd play it myself. I might get it just to support an effort to get software to the platform though. I'm just sort of over the whole Breakout-thing - had an overdose at some point ;) |
