I need a script that will match up the IPs of anonymous posters on ann.lu to members at various websites such as amigaworld.net, amiga.org, morphzone.org and so on...

How much should the bounty be for? We shall see which side has the most trolls! ;)

That will catch only the lame trolls who don't use anonymizers. The Bucks and Boumas of this world all go through some proxy in the ass-end of Belize.

I don't care which "side" has the most trolls. I just want to get rid of them all. I believe most trolls are just that, trolls. They're not there to support anything, they're just trolling.

For people who wanted to remain anonymous they will use anonymous proxy services e.g. "Complete Anonymous Web Surfing 1.0".

Nothing wrong with using proxy servers. i blame the nosy website owners who log ip addresses and use them for profit (Wayne Hunt and Darren Glenn are the only ones i know in this community what do it).

What you want is a script that:
- Searches through different web sites. You'll need some regex's to identify what code segments designate a comment.
- Store the comment (easier) or URL (harder) for each post, indexed by IP address or hostname.
- A search function to list comments by IP address, or maybe IP range.

Most modern languages should have the facilities needed to do this - Python, PHP, etc.

For starters, there is NO POSSIBLE FINANCIAL GAIN from collecting IP addresses, if there is one, name it, i've got plenty of IP addresses sitting in my sql dbases...
