An extremely rare Amiga prototype is up for sale.
It is real - a friend of mine is selling it after keeping it around for many years.
Clicking here will take you to the auction, where you can read all the details about the machine.
If you want a really special Amiga, go check this baby out!

Heh... agreed. I really want that thing. Though I have a feeling it'll soar out of my budget... Especially considering the cost of shipping the beast back to the US. You can believe I'd restore it to pristine, though, and paint it up a black case cover to match. :-) |

Amiga 3400 (A4000 prototype) for sale on Ebay : Comment 14 of 15 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Anonymous Orc on 08-Jul-2004 10:20 GMT | In reply to Comment 10 (Dave Haynie): why? I mean, after all, you can actually DO THINGS with an AmigaONE - whereas this classic piece of history is neat and almost unique, but isnt as useable as a real A4000 or A1200 - and would be very painful and expensive to upgrade to a level where you could do 'real work' on it. Into classic Amigas? The A3000 is
still the must buy. Followed by a real zinged , lowered, neon lighted and riding on 17's A500 ;-) |
