If we were to lock Harald Frank in a room with samface for a week, and paid samface to lecture Harald Frank, for the mere sum of 1680 euros, to convince him to free amithlon. Do you agree?

And we couldn't even do it as it is against the Geneva convention. |

Why don't we lock Harold and Bernie in a room for 24 hours with a selection of sharp instruments?
:-)

Posted by top on 08-Jul-2004 07:03 GMT | In reply to Comment 3 (priest): Amithlon should have been put free in internet since a long time... under GPL licence.
in order to allow community improve it and try to find a common way/mix of developpement with other Amiga developpers on PC hardware like UAE and AROS teams.
AmigaOS has too a good future in PC hardware if people work together to improve developpement in parallel of PowerPC market.
Using Linux modern well known kernels behind AmigaOS bring a maximum of hardware compatibility.
Custom apps should continue to be developped for Native AmigaOS 68k and if possible too in X86 code (like as PowerPC code)...
Amithlon should get an official statement of Free for download... for everyone.
If nothing is done, work of developpers that have improved it recently will be lost in time after the major part of Amithlon users will stop using it to another AmigaOS UAE solution. |
