AmigaWorld.org is a Amiga magazine, made for both sides. We try to fill areas where other Amiga sites can't reach. But all of the Amiga sites does a very good job offcourse.
Well, go on to www.amigaworld.org -We have lots of new articles, guides and interviews for you.
Check out the latest Amiga Alpe Adria report to. We hope that you like AmigaWorld.org and we also hope that people looks at AmigaWorld.org as a Amiga magazine for all kinds of Amiga users out there. Not just AmigaOS4 like our .net rival.
Take Care, and I wish you all the best in this ..ehrm.. rainy summer,... atleast here in Norway :)
Regards,
AmigaWorld Team

Posted by Michal on 13-Jul-2004 16:08 GMT | In reply to Comment 2 (Anonymous): We want to be free and as I say. I am not a OS4 user, but I have nothing against it. I didn't knew about OS4depot.net, but I guess that has something to do with AmigaWorld.net If not, sure I put it up.
We want articles about AmigaOS4, tests of products, interviews etc. But I cannot write about a OS which I don't know. I am sure that OS4 is a great OS and I will get it someday when AmigaOne drops in price.
PegasosII is something between AmigaOne and MicroA1. But it is much cheaper. MorphOS is also a good OS. Infact from my own point of view. MorphOS is still half year ahead of AmigaOS4. But that dosen't mean that OS4 aint good. Competition is good, but maybe Hyperion have noticed this now. By releasing this pre-release. More and more programs apears for OS4. Development needs users, and MorphOS have been here a long time for users. This is an very big advantage offcourse.
I wish that people was more friendly to each other. This is Amiga, and it is become PC world with PPC technology. More choices than one single Amiga. Its become AmigaOne and PegasosII. While Classic Amiga, is the Classic that we all remember and kept to our hearts.
We shouldn't fight at all. Its all wrong. For me. MorphOS is AmigaOS as much as AmigaOS4 is. They are different products like ScalOS and Dopus Magellan etc. It's become more choices for the Amiga community, and that in the end ain't that bad. But sure, I as many others will miss those days when Commodore had it all. It wasn't perfect then, but atleast. We wasn't red and blue fighting each other.
I wish that it was different, but the situation now ain't bad either.

Posted by Michal on 14-Jul-2004 14:47 GMT | In reply to Comment 8 (alog): When AmigaWorld.org accepts that AW.org is on the both sides, and that I am searching for OS4 contributors to write and stop banning me from the site, because I feel its important to write about MorphOS.
I am not even negative to OS4 on #morphos channel on ARCNET. Its just that I don't have it and AmigaWorld.org is actually done with Pegasos. I just get sick of beeing called red troll on #morphos irc channel and blue troll on #amigaworld :)
It is hard to live on both sides. :)

Maybe there are different reasons why you are considered to be a troll by both camps. Maybe you are a purple troll? :-) |

Posted by Michal on 15-Jul-2004 19:22 GMT | In reply to Comment 14 (Anonymous): My goal with amigaworld.org is to provide the Amiga Spirit to you. Amiga spirit is in both hearts at morphos and amigaos4. We all share the thing to be "different".
The Amiga community needs a better reputation and AmigaWorld.org have just started a campaign, which aims at giving us a better reputation. That others than us in this old Amiga family wants AmigaONE or PegasosII.
People gets scared off by this silly war :) but now its time to change that.
