In an effort to improve the availability of its AmigaOS/MorphOS line of products in the United States of America, Mr. Hardware Computers has been appointed by IOSPIRIT as the Official Distribution Partner for this region. US customers interested in the IOSPIRIT titles will benefit of shorter delivery times and the US-centric infrastructure of Mr. Hardware Computers. When ordering through this partner, US dollars can be used as currency for all payments. Furthermore locally popular methods of payment like money orders or the Amex, Mastercard, Visa and Discovery creditcards are then available. Off of this list, IOSPIRIT at the time of writing does only offer Visa and Mastercard.

"We are very glad we could win Mr. Hardware Computers as Official Distribution Partner for the US region and can now jointly offer US customers a tailor-made solution for purchasing our products." said Felix Schwarz, IOSPIRIT.

"Mr. Hardware Computers is happy to include IOSPIRIT's products to our line of software programs. Demonstrations of these powerful programs will be given at usergroups around the New York area." said Russ Norrby, Mr. Hardware Computers.

Hi IOSPIRIT, any news on when we are going to see an IBROWSE update?

IBrowse 2.3 was released in January of 2003, so we are approaching 2 years since that release. Web pages are updated all the time, and as time goes by many pages don't work well under IBrowse 2.3 anymore.

What would it take to speed up your development cycle? I think I purchased IBrowse 2.0 something like 4-6 years ago and you haven't asked me for anymore money since (which is nice), but I'm willing to put some money in if it speeds up development.

In reply to Comment 1 (Darren Eveland):
It should be quite well known that IB2.4 (a mainly buggfix release) will come out "soon" and that the 3.0 (now 68k/OS4 PPC) one should be comming sometime after that (only god knows when) =).

In reply to Comment 2 (4pLaYeR):
Sure I know about all of the talk of 2.4...and 3.0...but it's unfortunate that "soon" turns into 2+ years between releases. By time 2.4 or 3.0 comes out they again could be obsolete. I guess it is a matter of funding? Or time? Or both. I'd gladly pay for 2.4 or 3.0 if it would speed development.

Well, I'd like to say I had no problems in the past ordering directly from IOSpirit because of their excellently supported download purchases but for those times it's nice to have a real CD then a US distributor is a good step!

Barking up the wrong tree.....

IOSPIRIT is only the distributor for IB, "they" (or to be precise "he") has no real infuence
on the development.

In reply to Comment 5 (Kronos):
Sure they are the distributor.....but as a distributor they will listen to what their customers are telling them, or at least should...don't you think? They want to sell products that customers want...and customers want IBrowse 2.4 or 3.0 :)

In reply to Comment 6 (Darren Eveland):
Should be true if IB would be a commercial product, not just a hobby generating a measly
surplus ..... (same can be said bout all apps/games in this market within the last 5 years).

So IOSPIRIT still bothers with the Amiga/MorphOS market? Didn't they leave with a slamming door?

They put their development on ice, but they still distribute the software for sure.
