I wish. I've been stuck in an all male environment for 3 weeks and, apart from the ones in a copy of "Hustler" that floating around, I haven't seen any. :-(

Having to ask that question, it is surprising that this person can get their socks on in the morning, let alone work for a venture capital company.

Very weird name resemblance :)

"During the five years prior to joining Gateway in 1992, Collas founded and owned Anigma Inc., a successful engineering firm specializing in products for the PC industry"

For what it's worth, _one_ of the original Amiga patents is 4,777,621 to Miner, et al. October 11, 1988, Assignee: Commodore-Amiga, Inc. (Los Gatos, CA). "1. A video game and personal computer operating under direct memory access (DMA) with an address bus shared between a main microprocessor and an auxiliary microprocessor...."

It was filed on July 19, 1985. I have heard that it's 17 years from date of /issuance/. There are several others that came up on a search for Jay AND Miner at the patft.uspto.gov site, with later dates, that were assigned to Amiga. Most previous ones with his name were assigned to Atari, where he designed the model 800 8-bit machine. So none of the Amiga U.S. hardware patents will expire before 2005 it appears based on the 17 year period.

Why are you helping people who are not bright enough to think:

"patents - patent office - look up companies and people involved"

We are going to end up with plankton marketing Amiga intellectual property if this reverse mental evolution continues.
