Some clarifications are in order about the Ext2 handler reported last week... This thread talks about a ext2 handler/fs for MOS, but the author asked me to clarify some things about it.

1: The software is not based on GPL code
2: An 68k port is in progress.

Thanks for the clarification! :-)

I will follow the development of this software. I have not dared/bothered to test it because of its early state, but it could turn out to be very useful a bit further down the road.

it works without problems. i tested it on my 2 ext partitions.

I've also tested it on my 2 ext3 partitions and didn't noticed any problems. Remember - they are read-only, so they can't destroy your data.
