As time has passed, the www.yam.ch website reached its endtime and is rather
modern and uptodate. Therefore the YAM project is currently estabilishing a
new main web-based Community-Site which should replace the main www.yam.ch
site as soon as possible. Therefore the team is searching for motivated designers &
people who are familiar with PHP and/or the XOOPS framework. As time has passed, the www.yam.ch website reached its endtime and is rather

We already have a running linux server connected to the internet with a
high-speed connection. Our plans are to establish a community-site based on
the XOOPS framework (www.xoops.org) which is PHP based and should have a
design like other common open-source community sites. It will allow us to
provide a News system, FAQ board, some online-forums as well as a separate
site to provide daily compiled CVS snapshots.

As for the technical details, a test site has already been set up and is
running fine so far. But as we, as the developer, on one hand don`t have
enough time to spent time on designing/creating the necessary graphics and
as we are also no designers, we are searching for motivated (web)designers
out there who are on one hand familiar with PHP and also perhaps have
already some experience with the XOOPS framework.

So if you feel you are the right person for that job because you have enough
experience in designing a whole comunity-site which is on one hand a
community site like others out there and on the other hand have a decent
amiga design, please contact Jens.Langner@light-speed.de.
