Open Amiga is an effort to create a standard for the Amiga that developers and users alike can
use in their quest for the perfect Amiga platform. This standard is intended to minimize the
programming effort needed to port between the 3 current Amiga platforms, Amiga OS 4, AROS and MorphOS.
And at the same time give You as the user greater flexibility in desiding what system suits You the most.
Here is the minimum specification proposed for the Open Amiga standard:
Kernel:
AmigaOS 3.1 compatible
2D Graphics:
CGX v4 compatible
3D Graphics:
OpenGL 1.2 compatible
Audio:
AHI 5.5
Networking:
BSDSocket compatible
Media Layer:
SDL 1.2
GUI Tool Kit:
MUI 3.8 compatible
Executable File Format:
ELF
C compiler:
GCC

I've ported TTEngine, the TrueType text rendering engine, to MorphOS. Native PowerPC version is about 150 to 200% faster compared to emulated 68k one. Download it from TTEngine home page. Ported and tested on Pegasos I (G3 600 MHz).

The new version of the delfina.library by individual Computers now supports the soundcard on the clockport of the Highway USB card by E3B. Unfortunately, the clockport of the Highway card is not 100% identical with the clockport of the A1200 motherboard, so proper function is not ensured in all cases. Please report any problems.

If you follow the link you will find a first picture of the G4 CPU card production for the Pegasos. In this case it is a G4 1GHz. Note, that there hasn't been made a decision yet which CPU will be used (1GHz, 1.2GHz or 1.3GHz). Click here!
