[News] BarsnPipes being ported to MorphOS | ANN.lu |
Posted on 02-May-2003 11:15 GMT by Teemu I. Yliselä | 11 comments View flat View list |
Alfred Faust writes on the barsnpipes-mailing list: "I've just started a attempt to port BarsnPipes to the MorphOS - Pegasos - system. It is near unbelievable how fast this system is. Compiling is done 20 - 30 times faster than on my 68040/40-AMIGA. The loading process of the 500 pics for BarsnPipes at startup is done in 1,5 seconds (!). Because porting to MorphOS is real a hard work, I must terminate the furtherdevelopment on the AMIGA-line for the moment. I don't know if I can port BarsnPipes completly to MorphOS ... but I try it."

I have previously asked that moderators here actually signify threads they close/wipe out. I am asking AGAIN. If you run a website with an unmoderated /rant area, even if you don't like the content, or it breaks the rules, PLEASE at least have the courtesy to show the thread as closed/removed. Several such threads have just disappeared. And one comment within such a thread does not signify that the thread may not have content worth a read.
