Today the issue #49 (July/August) of the Amiga Future has been released.
Beside the AmigaOS 4 Pre-Release review we have also a review of the Hardware-Assistent, Hollywood-Designer, Amiga Forever 6.0, Open Transport Tycoon and of course LGeneral this time.
Today we release a OS4 Gallery, too.

Aros-Exec Reports that Michael Schulz have just commited his recent changes to ata.device. As promised, this update includes basic UDMA support together with some fixes (LBA48 harddrives work now as expected, and the drive capacities up to 2^57 bytes are supported).

Some releases from Solskogen 2004 demoparty have made their way to Amiga Demoscene Archive. They are Finnmark/Ephidrena and Democratic/Nature and both are highly recommended. Also, the Pegasos demo Own Love Balance/Madwizards was added.

According to these news on amiganews site, a beta-tester of Amiga OS 4.0 published on the web a video of 20 MB showing native Picasso96 on AOS4. It should match speed-benchmark points in performance as seen in a recent meeting.
