On the fxSCAN-website you can now also find benchmark-results that document the speed increase of version 4.0 and 68K/PPC when compared to version 3.0. All in all the OCR´s speed has increased by 650 percent even on one of the slowest PPC-boards.

Frank Fenn has released version 2.0 of "AC97Mixer" for Amithlon. This version adds support for the EMU10K (SB Live). Thus "AC97Mixer" now supports the SB128 and SB Live sound cards as well as VIA onboard sound.

for just $50. This replaces the illegal coupon offer. Purchasers are now joining a special "club" which is legal in most countries. The length of the offer has been doubled, and presumably the club will exist indefinitely.

Sales figures for AmigaAnywhere reveal a huge smash for the $50 prize draw coupon. The $50 coupon is breaking all previous records for the AmigaAnywhere site. Not only did it out sell the AmigaAnywhere Entertainment Pack last week, but it has beaten the all time best seller PlanetZed.
