Ever since I introduced a ratings system ten months ago, people have mostly been ignoring it. Since the very low usage doesn't justify the storage required, as well as the increase in average bandwidth per transfer, I'm removing all rating functionality as of today. As a result, the main page should now weigh in at about 4k less than before.

Michael Domoney quotes an Aminet MOTD: The following four archives on Aminet were unfortunately infected: util/boot/StackAttack.lha, util/boot/BlazeWCP.lha, util/virus/Safe.lha and util/boot/FBlit.lha. They contain faked releases of the original software linked with a Trojan horse which sends out abusive e-mails. On infected systems a process called "zakahackandpatch" will show up. If your system is infected deleted the software listed above or replace it with older versions and reboot. As a protest against this abuse of Aminet we will shut down our services on "us.aminet.net" and "de.aminet.net" until Friday.

This seems to be the second hack/trojan/backdoor, after the StackAttack one distributed on the same day.

They have 6 pictures of the Zico spec A1 motherbpard that include: AmigaOne PCB layout, AmigaOne PCB layout (closeup), AmigaOne board, AmigaOne board + A1200 in an EZTower-Z4, AmigaOne in standard ATX Tower case and AmigaOne in standard ATX Tower case. - Are all the drivers running today, or is this just a stuff-n-go picture for size concept? Mark Olsen, after discovering that his "machine is mailbombing Juergen Haage" initially suspected it to be
coming "from the MorphOS team", but later discovered
"that the newly uploaded StackAttack is a trojan responsible for this".
Update: Georg Steger, original author of StackAttack (which comes with source) distances himself from this hack.
