Mark Loyd quotes a CNet article that says: "One company is trying to rise above the din of the Consumer
Electronics Show with a new multitasking wireless chip, a
new pitch, and backing from a major customer, Panasonic."
The article says the company "has its roots in the Amiga, and goes on to talk about the Amiga, the company and its future potentials, and quotes a representative with a plan to

Corinna Cohn posted a transcript of an interview with Bill McEwen on Moo Bunny, where Bill says that AmigaOS 3.5 and 3.9 are no significant additions to the Amiga revenue, but not worrysome either. Apparently, their cash is getting low, but they are working on securing more investment. Bill also said that Amiga will not be exhibiting at Comdex or CES, but only at Amiga trade shows, but their product will be available through vendors.

^^-- December 32, 2000? ;)
[ Before anyone accuses me of being a hypocrite, yes, I admit, ANN had a minor 2001 bug too - early in the morning on January 1st 2000 I had stupidedly fixed a y2k bug in my scripts by hardcoding any parsed date to 2000. It should be fixed now, though. - CK ]

ANN should have celebrated its 4th birthday two days ago, on December 28th 2000, but somehow I didn't get around to doing it. However, I still felt like doing my usual writeup of what has been going on, what is currently going on, and how the future will look like for ANN. Read more below.

AmiRaoul forwards a statement from T. Frieden on the Warp3D mailing list:
For now, the Voodoo 3 is the only PCI card that we plan to support. So
please, do NOT go out and buy either a Voodoo 4, Voodoo 5, GeForce,
GeForce 2, Matrox G450, TNT, TNT2, BitchingFast 3D or whatever.
