Posted on 30-Dec-2000 12:11 GMT by Teemu I. Yliselä | 0 comments |
Version 2.0 of this MPEG movie player for PPC Amigas has now been released. From the homepage: "Although I've tried my best to make this release as stable and bugfree as possible, the number of changes are so big that I would have to spend several weeks to try everything out myself, so instead I'm hoping for the best and release this version just in time for the new year. If you have an MPEG which either crashes AMP, or just wont work, please let me know as soon as possible. And if the MPEG is available on the Internet, don't forget to let me know where to find it." AMP version 1.34 has now been made freeware and can be downloaded here.

Just a short update on what's happening behind the scenes here at ANN. I still don't have the DSL line I subscribed for about two months ago. I do have a new machine, however (Duron 750). In case you've been wondering, I won at the Luxembourgish Web Awards, but what I learned about them shortly before and after the awards made me not only boycot the awards show, but also keep a low profile about them on here. But thanks for voting anyway. :) In other news, there's a new direct advertiser running (see above), so check them out even if it's not Amiga-related. :) Oh, and finally: No message posted in late December would be complete without the obligatory "merry xmas and happy new year" wishes.
