Vision Factory Development have posted a new ad for the G-Rex PCI-busboard from DCE. According to the ad, the board will have 5 PCI-Slots and ship with drivers for ViRGE, Permedia2, VooDoo3 2000/3000 and Ethernet. Forthcoming drivers include UW SCSI, TV Tuner, Soundblaster and Voodoo4-4500 support. The boards costs 399DM.

WebMachines announce the development of a QNX RTP-version of their iaClient software suite for Internet appliances. Amongst other things, the suite is promised to support Flash, RealAudio and MPEG audio technologies.
Empress Software have made the RTP version of their Empress RDBMS (Relational Database Management System) available free of charge for non-commercial use here.
The RTP seminar tour is coming to Europe from 20th to 30th November and US from 11th to 14th December. Check the full schedule here.
Philippe "Elwood" Ferrucci wrote a little review of RTP.
QSSL have reported that the number of downloads of RTP from get.qnx.com have exceeded half a million since it was first made available less than 2 months ago.

Espial today announced the availability of Espial TotalIA, an integrated Internet appliance reference platform that is based on x86-Linux and Tao's intent platform and which includes a completely integrated hardware and software stack that will significantly reduce time-to-market and minimize get-to-market risks for smart device manufacturers. From the GoldEd homepage: "GoldED Studio 7 is scheduled for release in December 2000. Major new feature will be the transition from a Rexx-centric application to Distributed BASIC, a new portable BASIC interpreter specifically developed for use inside applications. While beeing compatible with Rexx on the communication level, Distributed BASIC will make customization less difficult for the majority of users. Distributed BASIC will also be available as a stand-alone package to other developers."

Elbox have now released a Picasso96-compatible driver for Voodoo3 graphics cards. In their press release they write: "These drivers are 100% compatible with the popular graphic system for Amiga: Picasso96. Development of drivers will be continued by ELBOX Computer to enable use of Voodoo3 cards also with other graphic systems for Amiga computers."
