Seehund writes:
As you may have noticed, the AmigaDE SDK for Windoze is US$99 even
if you already have bought the SDK for Linux. However, it seems you have
a chance to get the Windoze "sidegrade" for free in exchange for a
submission of some of your work for the AmigaDE to Amiga's FTP site.
Read the (sparse) details in Gary Peake's e-mail to the AMIOPEN mailing
list below.

Paul quotes an
article
on I.T. that says:
We, as a company, are focusing all of our attention on OEMs
(original equipment manufacturers), says McEwen.
We have
a consortium in Japan of 63 companies and this will be using our
stuff on a whole new breed of handhelds.

Nothing new, just a confirmation in
Blittersoft's news page.
According to it, it is still possible to preorder it in the reduced price-offer.

[News] Amiga Central closes | ANN.lu |
Posted on 30-Oct-2000 09:03 GMT by Christian Kemp | 35 comments View flat View list |
In a posting
in the unmoderated section
here on ANN, Kevin Orme asked whether AmigaCentral.com was
still around. In a comment posted as reply, Chris Korhonen wrote: Basically, we decided it was no longer viable to continue the site. From our point of view the Amiga is dead, very little software and support. And Amiga's current plans may sound nice but they will either: a) Never Appear b) Apear, but, will not be anything like the amiga you know and love. Which will leave amiga owners with some non standard hardware which is of limited use. It was good whil it lasted but its time to call it a day.

Neil Bullock writes:
Trogladite Software are proud to present the
Amiga interview archive.
This will hopefully evolve into a one-stop site for any Amiga-related
interviews you could care to mention. Along with linking to external sites,
the archive will also form the basis of Trogladite Software's own interviews
which we will be conducting with various people over time.

[News] Photogenics runs on Windows... | ANN.lu |

Henrik Mikael Kristensen writes:
Photogenics runs on Windows, Linux, QNX and all the others through AmigaDE.
That's right. Photogenics runs on AmigaDE! According to Bill McEwen it took
Paul Nolan only three weeks to port it. The original Linux version took
several months to port. Read more about Bill's AmigaDE demonstration on
this show report here,
which also contains some (blurry) screenshots.
I posted a link to the show report before, but didn't emphasize on
Photogenics, which has now been done. :)
