[News] Executive Update updated | ANN.lu |

The most recent Executive Update at amiga.com seems to have been updated. I'm not sure about what is different, but I seem to recall that in the first version the Amiga Advisory Council was not mentioned. Did anybody notice other differences between the two versions?

Innovative have decided to develop a demoversion of fxPAINT. The result can now be downloaded. The demoversion has nearly all features of the full version apart from those, that allow you to save and print images. The PPC-support is untouched from these limitations.

If you use branded @home service (excite/Cox) with your Amiga you may have had

addressing scheme. This evening I found an easy way to access their nntp and mail
servers IP address!

[Motd] ANN v2 pre-release 5 | ANN.lu |
Posted on 05-Feb-2000 16:06 GMT by Christian Kemp | 6 comments View flat View list |
Pre-release 5 fixes a bug that prevented you from adding comments to a message on a "detail" page, and includes two handy new features: By clicking on the small icon next to the title, you can see the message alone (which should be useful for other news sites that want to link to a specific article on ANN). Once on the detail page, there is now a box below the article you can use to inform (email) somebody else about this article.

that should it be legally possible, the Amiga OS will indeed be
released as open-source software sometime in the future.
