In an ANN Mediator article discussion a link to http://www.elbox.com/press is mentioned (for those of you who missed it). It contains pretty good pictures of the Mediator in action. Unfortunately it will probably suffer from the competition from the Predator AGP-board.
Czech Amiga News are relaying the following message from Elbox: "The first 1000 pcs. of Mediator PCI 1200 are in final production stage now. The first boards will be ready within 4-5 days. All the batch of the 1000 pcs. will be ready within 14 days. The entire batch has already been ordered by our distributors."
The latest issue of Amiga Active magazine reports of the Predator busboard which will connect to the expansion port of the CyberstormPPC or the BlizzardPPC card. It will feature 3 PCI slots, 1 AGP slot and 1 SDRAM socket for up to 256MB of RAM. The bus runs at 66MHz. Drivers for an AGP-based Voodoo5 graphics card are in the works. The busboard is targeted at a September release and should cost around £170. [Is this the board from DCE that was discussed here earlier? - TY]
