I'm pissed. I don't know how else to say it. I willingly participated in the "I Am Amiga" club for the sole purpose of helping Amiga to further AmigaOS, and now I find out that they didn't even OWN AmigaOS when I sent them my money! What right did they have in taking my money under this false pretense? I will never trust anyone in this community again with my money, everyone has turned out to be nothing but liars.

Well, it's not that obvious if you ask me. I mean, on one hand AROS has contributed source code to the development of certain AmigaOS versions, while on the other hand AROS is an AmigaOS alternative that will be competing for the AmigaOS users and software developers in the future. Anti-AmigaOS or not, I'm really not sure. Hopefully, both will be able to co-exist and benefit from each other like they have been in the past and like they do today, but who knows what the future will unfold? |
