Here's an interesting quote by "Rux" that I found in the German Amiga Club forum. It should be common knowledge by now that TurboCalc is not being developed anymore. What I didn't know is that the programmer is now working for SAP, in California. And apparently, "he's earning as much in two months now than he did in the five years he worked on TurboCalc".

I know of one who works for SMUD (Sacramento Municipal Utility District) that is making that much and he is on contract, but they are planning on hiring them on full time wonder how much his pay will go down. How can I learn how to program in ABAB (I think that’s the programming language for SAP) when I don’t read or speak German (can’t speak English well either) and no where around here teaches SAP. |
