Time line to the future : Comment 2 of 14 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Andrew Galinski on 21-May-2001 22:00 GMT | In reply to Comment 1 (Vincent Perkins): I think adding a couple of "presumably" and "i believe" to
your page wouldn`t hurt at all. Sometimes you state things
rather boldly and people might get a false impression that
your information is accurate, which is not always the case.
For example, AmigaOne4000 may not appear at all, SiN might
come out even before AmigaOS 4.2, "Eyetech" and "Descent"
are spelled like that, not "Eyetec" and "Decent", and so on.
Your "exclusive early designs" of OS4.0 GUI almost made me
cry, and my linux and pc friends nearly died laughing. So
PLEASE take some time to add some text explaining that this
is only an amateur page and it reflects your own (very) rough
estimates ONLY.
Your strongest point is AmigaOne polls, maybe you`d better
concentrate on them instead of making amateur gfx and spreading
info without proper disclaimers. Sorry if i seem rude, i didn`t
mean to offend you in any way, but what Amiga needs now is
professionalism in every aspect. BTW English is not my native
language, and may be i did say something in an unappropriate
manner - sorry if this is the case.
Regards,
Andrew
PS The polls are great indeed. Please keep up the good work. |
