Some time ago we make a german interview with Michael Garlich (Titan) on the Amiga Future Page.

Today we translate the interview to english:

Otherwise nice review, but it ended in a little bit silly comments.
>What is your opinion about the actual situation and the plans of Amiga Inc.
>and their partner like Hyperion and Eytech (Amiga OS 4.0, Amiga DE respective
>AmigaAnywhere, AmigaOne)?
>Does anybody understand what they want?
Well. I think I do. I think their goal has been the same during the past 1.5-2 years or so.
(develop and deliver the DE to everywhere and AmigaOS as a home server, the AmigaOne is just a stepping stone or bridge towards legacy free OS&HW)
They just are wayyy behind their schedule ... and they most likely will continue to be...
>Every few weeks new announcements are made which are discarded with the next press release. I can't recognize a clear and qualified direction.
I think that is not true. There has been changes, like the revival of AmigaOS, though.
But not that often, definitely not every few weeks.
>What I dislike especially at Amiga Inc. is the bad defamation of a business rival without having any evidence for these claims.
I agree. MOS camp is equally bad ... or at least almost equally bad..
>This is no public business. It must be clarified at court if the allegation is authorized. But it doesn't seem to be authorized otherwise legal measures would have been initiated long ago.
>Which computer/OS combination do you think gots more chances:
>AmigaOne/AOS4.0 or Pegasos/MOS?
>Pegasos with MOS ans AOS4 (if Amiga finally thinks about their license policy).
Is that "as" or "and"? I think he meant "and", then I can agree.
Too bad he did not answer the question. ;-)
> AmigaOne is already a stillbirth. If Mai doesn't feel like it anymore the mainboard will be in the actual state for ever. Mai doesn't mind about Amiga and i doubt that the PX will ever be built in production run. Mai needs the mainboard for chiptests generally and not for sale, why should they put this amount of money in the development?
Wishfull thinking I would say. I bet Mai pretty much does what they are paid for, business as usuall.
If cows had wings they might be able to fly....
