Well you're forgetting that PlanetZed (as far as I know) are using a lot more coulors than Battle Squardron did. This means that a lot more data has to be moved somehow.
Anyway I don't think Fleecy's comment at WOASE was only about the processor speed it could easily be ram limitation. Take a look at Nokias latest phones and you will see they have only 2-3mb free, compared to the smartphones 12mb that ain't much.
