Quoting bbrv directly here:
All the Pegasos II machines that have been ordered from Genesi have been produced and are currently being tested. They will ship next week. The user manual was finished this morning. MorphOS 1.4 for Pegasos II is being perfected.

Pegasos II machines soon to ship : Comment 38 of 87 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Anonymous on 20-Dec-2003 11:00 GMT | In reply to Comment 29 (amorel): > So what were the problems which have been resolved?
Since they have been resolved, that's a rather academic and uninteresting question.
Design problems, manufacturing problems, shipping problems, "someone" ordering the entire first production batch... The end result is the same; an extremely short (in computer industry terms) delay. And now that problem is not here anymore (knock on wood). So?
> Also, assuming most orders have been done using a credit card, isn`t it a bit
> strange to charge those before the ordered item actually is available to ship.
Yes. But I wonder what product and company you're talking about, because such a hypothetical scenario has nothing to do with this thread.
> Normal practice would be to charge the credit card when the item is to be

So we have a case of normal practice here. Intriguing! Not.
> But I guess I missed something here, right?
Quite. |
