I saw news item somewhere - 'Blackshoot' is a 2D shoot'em up written with AmiBlitz 2 supporting graphics and sound cards. Versions for AmigaOS 3 and AmigaOS 4 are available. - So what's te catch? Is there AmiBlitz for OS4? Is it possible to convert PerfectPaint (written in AmiBlitz) for OS4?

No.. There isn't a version of AmiBlitz specific to AmigaOS4. The AOS4 version of Blackshoot just uses OS calls for the mouse clicks instead of polling the hardware.

The OS4 version of Blackshoot isn't AOS4 specific at all. It should run under just about anything (that has the capable hardware.) This includes Amithlon, UAE and MorphOS.
