64.5% Amiga Pure...and that's being actually honest.

I scored about the same, but lied (with all the best intentions) on one (linked) question...
I haven`t bought the SDK *yet*, despite knowing sod all about coding in C, although i`m daft, and probably will for the hell of it :-)
I was also naughty enough not to tick the last question "did you lie to increase your score" - because in effect, I do intend to buy the SDK, so it isn`t a "real" lie !

42,4%... which I consider being rather good given the fact I had to say "no" to questions 1 to 6 because I don´t own any Amiga hardware anymore!

A lot of those questions applied to me better in 92/93/94 when I was more of an Amiga advocate. I mean I can't honestly advocate the amiga for being a great all round desktop computer for everyone anymore - mostly because of lack of hardware and software options these days :(.
Hopefully all that will change!

69.6 % is not bad i think. :)
But some of the questions are
outdated and there are some
present questions missing. ;)

People, did you actualy read what 'purity' does mean ?
100% Amiga pure is not same as 100% pure Amigan .
It is quite opposite.

You ALL should give your Amiga Corrupt ratings!!!
I got about 35%. Which is alright, I suppose.
What is a CDTV II?

In reply to Comment 9 ([G]NiOB):
A CDTVII is the successor (surprise!) to the CDTV. It had the same stereo-rack-style case but with the buttons slightly rearranged.
I don't recall the specs, but I believe it was KS 2.0 based with a 68020. There have only been 2-3 of them produced so they are exceptionally rare.
Anyway, I knew this and I was about 44% corrupt! :-)

"You answered "yes" to 17 of 78 questions, with a total value of 17 points out
of 85, making you 80.0% Amiga pure (20.0% Amiga corrupt)."
Now I just need somebody to tell me what this means. :)

I used to have one.
It was actualyl called teh CDTV-CR. CR for Cost Reduced.
It was the same style case, but also had a removable panel at the front for mouning a floppy drive, as well as a tray-load 2x CD-ROM drive, and more 'stuff' on the LCD panel.
Also, it was an 8MHz 68000 with 1 meg of CHIP RAM. There were also two brand new, never used anywhere else chips on the board.
It was ALL surface mount.
It had a header for a 2.5" IDE drive.
Also had a newer version of the CDTV-ROM. You noticed a "2" down in the corner of the boot screen. The CD-Player options were pretty much the same.
Slick unit that never got marketed.
There were about 40 of them around the world. I ditched mine in an auction a while ago.

Here is the result of your Amiga Purity Test.
You answered "yes" to 51 of 78 questions, with a total value of 54 points out of 85, making you 36.5% Amiga pure (63.5% Amiga corrupt.
How nice! :-)
I hope someone can put together a 500 point Amiga purity test (with 500 questions no less).

This is what the author stated:
No....with purity being defined by the amount of things you hadn't done, the same
method is used for all purity tests, despite being a bit confusing....
Still it's just a bit of fun :)
