My computer is in semi-working state again - the retailer I bought it from changed the mainboard, the processor and the RAM. The only problem that seems to remain right now is that my "Network and Dial-up Connections" are empty when they shouldn't, but that's just a minor issue.|
After seven hours of school, plus four hours of work today, all I'm planning to do is sleep, before hopefully getting back to regular updates tomorrow.
What looks like a spider from a dialup in France sent over nine-thousand requests to ann.lu yesterday and today, inflating my bandwith to some extent, but not affecting the service, as far as I could tell.

|Are you running on apache?|
I have not tried it but understand that you can add a
deny from rogue.domain.fr
to your .htaccess file

I think I read someday that Amiga.org used some "tricks" to prevent spiders from hogging resources...? But I don't know how.
