vuosi2002_11.jpg: AmigaOneG3-SE motherboard, sadly missing a working BIOS.
Deliveries should start by Christmas.
vuosi2002_12.jpg: AmigaOne-XE prototype, which refused to boot. The user
group will demonstrate a working AmigaOne at a later date.
vuosi2002_13.jpg: Pegasos setup all ready to rock. Notice the gracefully
placed microphone used for Shoutcast streaming. |

Posted by strobe on 17-Oct-2002 22:13 GMT | Were you being sarcastic?
There were only three things mentioned about the A1:
1) The AmigaOne didn't work
2) The AmigaOneXL didn't work
3) The AmigaOne (with the soldered-on G3) would be available for purchase in December.
NO mention of any other use of the A1 other than running Linux or as a door stop.
Please tell me you were being sarcastic! |

Posted by priest on 18-Oct-2002 02:42 GMT | Anyway, AmigaOne was first time shown in Finland. Same with the pegasos (in "a little bit" more useable form, though).
Something at the show was really unexpected... the brochure of pegasos was written in finnish! I think I have not seen decent brochure of Amiga related stuff in finnish language since 1990 or so... |

Posted by Björn Hagström on 18-Oct-2002 07:13 GMT | I like the idea of being able to download all pictures in a single package. I would have chosed zip though, but that's me.
Packing them together isn't about reducing size, but to make it convenient for the viewer to get all pictures in one go.
