I really hope they can sort this out, it would be nice to play those remastered games without using UAE etc.

Could it be possible to some other party to fund the development & get those games ... (Genesi...)

In reply to Comment 3 (priest):
No, because Cinemaware own them. Cinemaware were subcontracting work to ClickBOOM. There is nothing an external third party could do to help, AFAIK.

Apparently Genesi are only interested in pda/stb size games.

Just to remember that things aren't always as they seems to be,
before judging this new chapter in the Clickboom history,
read this site:
http://www.mhd.mh.se/~rutgers/cb/clickboom.html

It's also a nice read to remember how nice the Amiga
community is ;-)

Ah, I'd forgotten about click-thud and their duplicity. Let us not forget the little tantrum they threw over Quake, either...

All I have to say about Clickboom is "where's my NightLong??"

I bought one of the earlier versions that the cd duplicator
truncated the filenames on and I still haven't been able to
get a fixed version from Clickboom.

If I had a directory listing of the full length filenames
then maybe I could make my own fixed version by renaming
the files and burning a new CD.

As it is now, they got my money and I have a nice box with
3 coasters.

I managed to read the cd on my PC. Copied it to the HD, reburned it and voila.

to all who belive that the people who work in clickboom doesnt get paid...well you are wrong , the money for the work is comming along , but for financing the cinemaware games DOESNT! and thats why it has been ceased and Z and 666 is back in development , they still need 2 more people to help out ...

anyway there havent been 1 skipped payment in clickboom since the myst/quake/cp time... what all others are saying is FUD!

What's that nice encoded note in that image in the ORIGINAL Myst CD then?
It's in the demo as well. Care to elaborate? I do buy their product but I
really didn't like the shit Alex pulled in Serbia.

What about Napalm2: EuroBurn then? The N2 page has said "opens soon" for about 3-4 years now. I hope they decide to throw away the Cinemaware crap and start finishing their own games. If i wan't to play old games I get my A500 ready.

In reply to Comment 15 (nfredrik):
n2 and Z have the same reasons for delay , they need more people to work on em.

and this is old news ...infact VERY old , as they have asked for people for quite some time (some joined em, but not enough) , and nowonder they havent got more people when so much fud is beeing brought upon em , they made some bad moves in the past (CP,myst and Quake) and now they have probs because no one wants to join em and earn money and work with amiga games, its rather weird really since payment is actually pretty good.

anyway i must add that all the myst etc stories are really bad and that i understand why someone wants to talk more about it, but sometimes u gotta check again what happened afterwards before stating that this still happens...

anyway i bought myst and i have played it for like 5 mins....really bad game if u ask me (on all plattforms) , but i guess many likes it anyway....

napalm and tzero and nightlong are cool games , cp was too hard and quake...well thats another story :)

Ok.... damn.. to bad i know nearly nothing about programming cuz Napalm is the best Amiga game ever. I've been looking forward to it(N2) since the day ClickBOOM announced it.
