A new tutorial has been added to SWAUG's Amiga Support pages. It gives an introduction to the Amiga version of Jabberwocky and shows some of it's main benefits. There is a step-by-step guide on how to setup Jabberwocky with Windows / MSN Messenger so Amiga owners can chat to PC Windows users.

You can find the tutorial here: http://www.swaug.org.uk/jabberwocky

Thanks for the information. I got online on ICQ with it. One problem though, when I get a message, it only shows UIN@icq.jabber.dk instead of name.. this is a little akward as sometimes I will not know who is talking to me. Or have I missed something?

In reply to Comment 1 (hooligan/dcs):
Highlight your contact in the roster, goto the Information menu and where it says name enter the persons real name. Now every time it will associate that icq uin with their name.

When I select contact and pick CHAT from menu, I can see name+uin.
But when someone is messaging me, I can only see uin and no name.
I have "Display messages using the chat-window" selected and indeed messages are going to a chat-window.

Also, JW loses settings for Show online users, Popup notify and Sound Notify when exiting the program, eventhough I have saved the settings.

There are more bugs found in 30 minutes than I have discovered in Windows from the last ten years :-)
