I think if you read the quote in context all becomes clear, OS 4 native Quake 2 was publicly displayed with 3D acceleration on the AmigaOne for the first time.

It was my machine running Quake2 ;-)

I have an AmigaOne XE G4 with a Voodoo 3 3000 AGP card, and a SoundBlaster Live soundcard in it, and was "given" the Warp3D and the Quake2 executable to test on my machine to display at the show. I must say it runs really fast :-)
