I have added an update to my Pegasos II review at amiga.org. It's "edited" into the first post (the actual review), and you will see it among the comments near the top of page 3 as well.

In essence: My experience is that everything works fine now! Both thumbs up! :-)

Does any of the 2 supported Linux distros (Debian and Gentoo) support the more recent Kernel, 2.6?

Also I would like to know if all Linux x86 console apps/services work on the PowerPC/Pegasus? (Any problem recompiling with endianess issues to know? Keep in mind that a server I need to replace would need uPnP NAT Translation services to the 3 XP clients. I want to replace my flaky D-Link Internet Gateway as well.)

I don't know about the kernel, but normally every app that compiles on linux/PPC should also work on the Pegasos (or A1)

If you had actually read my review (from the christmas batch of Pegasos II motherboards) you would have noticed that I wrote about some really annoying issues. None of those issues remains now, so what would you expect me to write in the update? That it *doesn't* work fine, when it actually does?

According to my experiences, the Pegasos is now flawless! :-)
